When not researching and writing books, Dr. Tait is the President and Founder of Rejuv Medical Southwest, an integrated Functional Sports Medicine and Medical Fitness practice in Tucson, Arizona.
Rooted in safe, effective, and sustainable treatments for musculoskeletal injuries and other health ailments, the foundational treatments offered in his practice combine state of the art diagnostic and therapeutic treatments with the necessary lifestyle interventions we all must focus on to function and feel well – diet, exercise, sleep quality, stress management, and social engagement.
His practice philosophy is to develop a solid partnership with every patient or client to educate, guide, and empower each to find their individual pathway to recover from pain or injury, restore health, prevent future injuries or disease – so that they can live life at the highest possible level of function for as long as possible.
He is triple board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as Sports Medicine by the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine.
He holds certifications in Plant-Based Nutrition, Functional Movement Screen (FMS-1), and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA-1).
Appointments include Associate Research Faculty, Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Arizona, and Consultant for the University of Arizona Athletics Department.
When not in the office, he can be found hiking, canyoneering, and rock-climbing the mountains in Southwest Arizona, or scuba diving, skiing, traveling, and achieving food enlightenment through culinary experimentation.
